Who we are

Lumio is a voice language tutor for kids, operated by Solecovia. For any question about your data or your child’s, write to us via the contact page — the person responsible for the protection of personal information will get back to you.

What we collect at signup

The parent’s email, the parent’s and child’s first name (or nickname) and username, a password (hashed, never readable), the chosen languages and, if you provide it, the child’s birth year. Nothing else — no address, no phone number.

What the app stores

Transcripts of conversations with Lumio, completed drills, progress, and small facts Lumio remembers to personalize sessions (a pet, a favorite sport). The parent sees all of it from their account and can delete any item. Audio is streamed live for the conversation and is not kept as a recording.

What we never do

No advertising. No selling or sharing of data for commercial purposes. No social content, no contact with strangers. Conversations are used solely to tutor your child.

Processors and hosting

The site and account data are hosted on our servers. During a session, the voice transits through the artificial-intelligence provider powering Lumio, only for the duration of the conversation.

Retention and your rights

Data is kept for as long as the account exists. You can request access, correction, or complete deletion of the account and your child’s data at any time via the contact page — we act on it free of charge.

Cookies

The site uses only two cookies: your language choice (remi_lang) and your consent choice. No advertising cookies, no third-party trackers.
