One conversation at a time
Lumio combines voice conversation, short drills and a character collection that makes kids want to come back tomorrow.
1. Talk with Lumio
Your child taps the mic and chats with Lumio, out loud. Lumio settles on a topic the child loves (dragons? trucks?), asks simple questions and helps them shape their answers in the learning language. No keyboard, no menus — a conversation.
2. Short sessions that grow
The first session is about two minutes. A progress bar fills — no visible timer — and the goal grows gently with each completed session. Per-session and daily caps stay under your control.
3. Drills woven into the session
At just the right moment, Lumio slips in short grammar drills tied to what your child just said. He celebrates progress and rephrases without ever discouraging.
4. Earn Lumis
Every finished session earns a Lumi: a small illustrated character, created from the very topic your child talked about. Companion Lumis convert into power points; Powered Lumis get an origin story, a super power, a strength — and can evolve with an element: fire, water, lightning…
5. Build your kingdom
Each session also earns action points for “My Kingdom”: a map to conquer square by square, ugly-cute little monsters to shoo away, resources to gather — and companion Lumis pitching in as villagers.
6. You stay in charge
No social feed, no ads, no outside content. Adjustable time limits, one profile per child, and sessions that wrap up cleanly when time is up.
